Mathematical Palette will host of the 23d edition of the Mathematics and Multimedia Blog Carnival, so I think I should introduce what a carnival for my readers here who are not readers of Mathematics and Multimedia.
A math blog carnival is collection of links of the most recent mathematics blog posts in the blogosphere. It is a sort of shopping mall of fresh posts from mathematical bloggers. A math carnival is an ideal place to learn mathematics and exchange ideas with other bloggers.
There are two popular mathematics carnivals, the Carnival of Mathematics and Math Teachers at Play. These are monthly carnivals and hosted by different bloggers each month. Two years ago, I started the Mathematics and Multimedia Carnival, a carnival dedicated to K-12 mathematics, mathematics teaching, and integrating technology in teaching mathematics.
To give you an idea, here are some of the recent carnivals.
Submitting posts to a blog carnival increases traffic, so most math bloggers do so. If you want your articles to be included in this month’s edition of the Math and Multimedia Carnival, you may submit your article here on or before August 18th. If you want to host the next edition, you may email me at mathandmultimedia@gmail.com.
