The number trick below shows how numbers can be a lot of fun.number trick surprise
Impress your friends by reading their minds using the the following trick.

  1. Think of a number.
  2. Multiply it by 2.
  3. Add 10.
  4. Now divide the total by 2.
  5. Subtract the first number from the quotient in 4.

The answer is 5!

For mathematics students, you would be able to impress your teacher if you can explain why the trick works.
